Mumbai: Track-laying to commence on Metro 2A corridor

The MMRDA has successfully completed the construction of a viaduct between DN Nagar and Dahisar along the Link road.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has successfully completed the construction of a viaduct between DN Nagar and Dahisar along the Link road. The construction has been completed for the entire 18.5km stretch of the Metro 2A corridor.

As per the report published by the Times of India (TOI), the only missing link on the Metro 2A corridor was the Adarsh Nagar stretch near Oshiwara, where work has been stalled for the last four years. Reportedly, the work has stalled because of the encroachments.
