In a veiled attack on the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray accused the central agency of deliberately going after celebrities for publicity.
"The Mumbai and Maharashtra Police seized heroin worth Rs 25 crores four days ago, but they caught 'heroin', not a 'heroine'. Hence, they did not get enough publicity," he said while taking a swipe at the NCB over the recent Mumbai drug bust.
