
Mumbai cyber police opposes CBI's plea seeking crucial evidence against Anil Deshmukh

"What the CBI is seeking was something we have found in our own investigation and so it cannot be shared with another agency," Mumbai cyber police said.
Mumbai cyber police filed a reply and opposed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) plea seeking crucial evidence to proceed with the case against the former Maharashtra home minister, Anil Deshmukh. Mumbai cyber police, which is investigating the case against unknown people about leaking of a state intelligence report, said, "What the CBI is seeking was something we have found in our own investigation and so it cannot be shared with another agency." Special Public prosecutor Ajay Misar appeared for the Mumbai cyber police during the hearing.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
