MSC Bank scam: Nine sugar mills, more political leaders under ED radar 

A day after the Enforcement Directorate attached a sugar mill controlled by Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and his wife in connection with Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank scam, sources say that the agency is likely to initiate action against nine more sugar mills and a few other political leaders in the matter.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation in the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank scam (MSCB) will further initiate action on nine other sugar mills and few other political leaders are under the agency's scanner. ED on Thursday attached the Jarandeshwar sugar mill in Satara controlled by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and his wife Sunetra in connection with the case.
