MS Dhoni trying to regain form: Brian Lara on CSK captain’s decision to bat at No. 6 in loss vs DC

IPL 2021: Batting great Brian Lara pointed out that Chennai Super Kings will benefit if MS Dhoni returns to some kind of form but insisted that the 3-time champions should use Ravindra Jadeja higher up the order in the remainder of their season.

Former West Indies captain Brian Lara said Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is looking to regain some amount of batting form by promoting himself higher up the order for in the UAE leg of the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL), saying an in-form captain is an asset to the 3-time champions.

Lara, however, added that CSK should play Ravindra Jadeja higher up the order if they are to make full use of the India all-rounder's fine form with the bat this season.
