Monsoon Session: Govt to introduce 17 bills, Congress ready with its 5-point plan

The Monsoon Session of Parliament is set to begin on Monday, and in all likelihood, both Houses of the Parliament are set to witness big political battle on key issues. The government plans to introduce 17 new bills in the upcoming session, while the Congress has set the agenda by short-listing five key issues to corner the government. The Monsoon session is also going to be a litmus test for the Narendra Modi-led government, which recently went through a big reshuffle. Notably, PM Modi has changed several key ministers or shifted few of them from their key ministries just ahead of the session.
