The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) signed an agreement for the management, operation, and service provision of the Central Markets with Hassad Food Company, covering Al Sailiya Central Market, Al Wakra Central Market, and Umm Salal Central Market. The agreement aims to ensure the continuity of cooperation with Hassad Food Company in organising the Central Markets and enhancing the efficiency of the services provided therein, contributing to improving the work environment within the markets, enhancing the quality of services offered to traders and consumers, and supporting the national food security system.
The agreement was signed by HE Mohammed bin Hassan Al Malki, Undersecretary of the MoCI, and Eng. Ali Hilal Al Kuwari, CEO Hassad Food Company. The signing of the agreement comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to develop the management and operation of its affiliated facilities in accordance with best practices. (TNN) page 11
