MoCI recalls Ikea plates, bowls over possible burn risk

Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with Hamad and Mohamad Al Futtaim, dealer of Ikea in Qatar, has announced the recall of Ikea’s “HEROISK” and “TALRIKA” plates, bowls, and mugs over the possibility to break and cause burns due to hot content or when put in the microwave.

The recall campaign comes within the framework of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on products defects and repairs. The Ministry said that it will coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works.
