Missouri zoo welcomes newborn Bornean orangutan just before Mother's Day
Fox News
The Kansas City Zoo welcomed a newborn Bornean orangutan last week, which will learn to find food, build nests and interact over the next few years, with its mother Josie.
In the post, zoo officials said the newborn baby and his mother are forming a critical bond behind the scenes, one in which orangutan infants develop a long-lasting relationship with their mother. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
It is over the next several years that Josie will show her new baby skills like how to build a nest, forage for food and interact with others.
