
Mississippi state confirms 4 new fishing records, some set by children

Dustin Conway, Jordan Matthews, Rodie Armes and Blake Bosarge all caught record-breaking fish, according to the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.
In a news release, the Mississippi DMR confirmed that Rodie Armes and Blake Bosarge had set youth records and that Dustin Conway and Jordan Matthews had set state records.
Armes, 11, caught a Ladyfish weighing 2 pounds, 11.04 ounces with a conventional tackle. Meanwhile, 13-year-old Bosarge set a record by catching a 20-pound, 12-ounce Scamp, also using a conventional tackle.
