Cyber crimes in India are proliferating at a rapid pace. Fraudsters have now started targeting government officials and top police officers by creating their fake Facebook profiles. The latest to fall victim is Agra's Assistant Director General Rajiv Krishna. Within 30 minutes of the fake profile being created, nine people were sent friend requests and attempts were made to demand money from acquaintances. The Agra Police's Cyber Cell immediately warned the people who had added the fake profile.
