Minister, CPM leader slams Centre for rejecting Kerala float for Republic day parade

Kerala wanted a statue of Sree Narayana Guru in front of their Republic day parade float. But, the union government rejected the float. Ministers and CPM leaders saw this as an insult to Sree Narayana Guru.
Kerala Education Minister V Sivankutty called out the central government after the state was denied permission to present a float with Sree Narayana Guru for the Republic day parade. In a social media post, the minister asked if the state BJP also rejects Sree Narayana Guru like the central government.
Kerala planned to use the Jadayupara bird statue and snake boat with the theme of women's safety in their republic day float. The union government had suggested adding Sree Sankaracharya in front of the float.
