Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday shared a troubling forecast for President Donald Trump if Democrats take back control of the House in this year’s midterms.
In an appearance on CNN’s “The Source,” Pence was asked whether he agrees with his old boss’s recent prediction that Democrats would impeach him should they get the House majority.
“Well, I think it’s very likely,” Pence told host Kaitlan Collins.
Pence continued, referring to Trump’s first impeachment for allegedly threatening to withhold military aid to Ukraine in an effort to pressure officials in the country to launch an investigation into the Biden family.
“I mean, they impeached the president for a phone call when we were in office. And I expect it in this highly divided, partisan town,” he said.
The president ignored the question and went on a tirade instead.
