MI vs SRH: Rahul Tripathi a seriously special player, says Kane Williamson

IPL 2022, MI vs SRH: Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson lauded Rahul Tripathi for his match-winning 76 against Mumbai Indians and said Umran Malik who took 3 for 30, was a strength for his side.
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson doffed his hat to Rahul Tripathi who was named man-of-the-match for his spectacular 76 in a 3-run victory over Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday.
Rahul Tripathi has now scored 393 runs in IPL 2022 including three half-centuries. Kane Williamson said Tripathi has the ability to change the momentum in any game.
He's (Rahul Tripathi) a seriously special player, he comes out and takes the momentum away.... have seen a number of times in this competition," Williamson told Star Sports.
Kane Williamson was also impressed with tearway pacer Umran Malik who took two crucial wickets in an over and finished with figures of 3 for 20. Umran is now 4th in the list of top wicket-takers in IPL 2022.
"He (Umran) always bowls quick which is obviously a strength and weapon for our side. He has got an amazing skillset which if he can channel, he can turn a match as we saw," Williamson said.
Sunrisers Hyderabad gave Priyam Garg his first match of the season and he responded with a rapid 42 to set the tone for the innings. Kane Williamson said Garg was a player who would play a lot more for the Sunrisers because of his potential.
"Priyam is a seriously talented cricketer... great that he could get the opportunity. He's one of those players we're going to see a lot more of, got a really good head on his shoulders, a lot of potential but a lot of skill as well," he said.
