IPL 2022: Dinesh Karthik has his fingers crossed much like thousands of RCB supporters as a Mumbai Indians win over Delhi Capitals on Saturday will assure them of place in the playoffs.
Dinesh Karthik came up with a cheeky social media post hours ahead of the all-important IPL 2022 match between Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday, May 21. Karthik has done his bit for RCB with the bat, playing the finisher's role to perfection and he is hoping with his fingers crossed that the former finalists can earn a playoffs ticket.
Dinesh Karthik took to social media to share a photo of himself in Mumbai Indians colours on Saturday.

Karthik's post comes as RCB are hoping that Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals in their final league match and deny Rishabh Pant's men a spot in the playoffs. RCB can go through to the playoffs only if Delhi lose Saturday's contest.
Delhi,who reached the final in IPL 2022, have 14 points from 13 matches and can leapfrog RCB (16 from 14 matches) because of their better Net Run Rate.
Notably, former skipper Virat Kohli, who found peak form in their last league win against Gujarat Titans on Thursday, had joked about supporting Mumbai Indians on Saturday.
