MHA grants VIP security to 61 BJP MLAs in West Bengal

The MLAs were granted the X-category security under which two to three armed commandos escort the protectee.

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has granted X-category security for 61 BJP MLAs in West Bengal. The security is being provided by CISF after a detailed review. Earlier, additional security cover to 10 more BJP leaders in West Bengal was given ahead of the Assembly polls in the state.
