Mehul Choksi accuses Barbara Jarabica, three others of 'abduction' in complaint to Scotland Yard

Scotland Yard has launched a probe into Mehul Choksi's complaint in which he has accused four individuals, including Barabara Jarabica, of 'abducting' him from Antigua.

Mehul Choksi's legal team has filed a complaint in the UK against four individuals they claim were part of his alleged 'abduction' from Antigua and Barbuda. Responding to the complaint, Scotland Yard has initiated a probe into the matter. According to reports, Mehul Choksi's legal team hired the firm Justice Abroad Lawyers to file a complaint on his behalf in London. The complaint identifies four individuals by name and cites 'documentary evidence' to allege that the fugitive diamond trader was forcibly taken to Dominica. Michael Polak, the human-rights lawyer who has taken the lead on the matter, has written a detailed note summarising the claims made by Mehul Choksi. It was Polak who first lodged a complaint in this regard with the British police on June 7.
