Megyn Kelly Defended Trump’s Sexist Remark — And It Included A Shocking Name-Drop

The former Fox News host had a bizarre way of justifying the president's attack on CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.
Megyn Kelly is defending President Donald Trump’s latest disparagement of a female journalist by recalling the advice of a former boss she accused of sexual harassment.
On Tuesday, Trump lashed out at CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, who was pressing him about his relationship with late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Rather than answering the question directly, the president deemed Collins the “worst reporter” before adding: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile.”
The headline-making exchange came up during Kelly’s two-hour interview with Vice President JD Vance on her SiriusXM radio show on Wednesday. Not surprisingly, Vance stood behind Trump, calling him “so perceptive” for seeing through Collins’ “antagonistic” approach.
Kelly agreed with Vance’s assessment while dismissing other public figures who blasted the president’s commentary as sexist.
“I literally said the same thing about Kaitlan Collins a year ago on my show. She never smiles,” the former Fox News host said. “Every once in a while, you have to smile. Roger Ailes used to tell us that. Every once in a while, you’ve got to remember to smile, show the viewers that you have a heart.”
