Former NBC “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd ripped Vice President JD Vance’s chances of securing a 2028 presidential win following President Donald Trump’s military operations in Iran.
“JD Vance’s presidential aspirations are dead,” Todd told Chris Cillizza, a former CNN political commentator turned independent news creator, in a conversation published on Substack earlier this week.
“That is a hot take!” Cillizza responded.
Todd’s prediction comes during Trump’s ongoing “Operation Epic Fury” with Israel against Iran. The attacks have received a mix of backlash and support from his Republican base.
