Marjorie Taylor Greene Accuses Leavitt Of Leaving Door Open For A Draft, But They're Just 1 Problem

The former congresswoman was quick to jump to conclusions after Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt appeared on Fox News this weekend.
Marjorie Taylor Greene flipped out in an X post on Sunday and accused the White House press secretary of leaving the door open for a military draft.
During an appearance on Fox News this weekend, “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo told Karoline Leavitt that mothers were “worried” their children could get caught up in a hypothetical draft. Then she asked Leavitt if President Donald Trump has any plans to have troops on the ground or if military operations in Iran will continue as an air campaign.
“President Trump wisely does not remove options off of the table,” Leavitt replied.
Far-right conspiracy monger Stew Peters seized on the sliver of ambiguity in Leavitt’s wording as he posted video of the interview to X while falsely quoting her as saying, “Trump might institute a DRAFT.”
The White House’s Rapid Response account tried to correct Peters in a repost that said, “She didn’t say anything close to this. You just made it up.”
