Twenty years ago on this day, India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh claimed a memorable hat-trick against Australia and went into the record books as Team India went on to win the Kolkata Test.

Moment which changed my life #Hattrick #Grateful @BCCI pic.twitter.com/8Is0UothJh At that point, however, Australia were in a dominant position on Day 1 of the Kolkata Test at 252/4 when Harbhajan got Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist and Shane Warne off successive deliveries in the 72nd over to have them pegged back at 252/7. It was only Harbhajan’s 10th Test match and the bowler went on to take 13 wickets in the game. This was the game that made him into a super-star and the bowler himself has acknowledged it several times.
