Manchester United registered a 2-1 win over Brighton that strengthened the team's grip on second place in the Premier League on Sunday.

Mason Greenwood helped Manchester United register a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion to edge closer to a top-four finish in the Premier League on Sunday. United academy graduate Danny Welbeck had headed Brighton into a 13th-minute lead before Marcus Rashford equalised in the 62nd minute and Greenwood popped up on the edge of the six-yard box to complete the Old Trafford side's comeback in the 83rd. It left second-placed United on 60 points, 14 behind runaway leaders Manchester City but crucially 11 ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and West Ham United.
