Manchester City star Sergio Aguero to leave club at the end of season, bring an end to 10-year long association

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero said that he was "proud" of his time at the club and said that what he had achieved as a player at the Etihad was unusual for footballers in recent times.

Manchester City confirmed late on Monday night that their star striker Sergio Aguero would leave the club when his contract runs out this July. Aguero joined City from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has 257 goals in 384 games since, making him their record goal-scorer. He has been responsible for so many dramatic wins for the club, including the winning goal in the 2012 Premier League as they edged local rivals Manchester United.
