Man loses 120 pounds, becomes triathlete after wife dies: ‘I wanted something more’
Fox News
Bill Bowden, 52, from Burbank, California, has lost about 120 pounds since 2019 and is participating in his first triathlon on Saturday.
That all changed in August 2019, when Bowden’s wife of 26 years died. At the time, Bowden said, he was at his heaviest weight: close to 280 pounds.
"When my wife passed away, I found myself in a different situation," Bowden told Fox. "I didn’t really know what to do and I didn’t know who I was. I didn’t really have a direction."
