Man killed for stealing omelette from bar in Chennai

A man was killed on Friday allegedly for stealing an omelette from a bar in Chennai. Chennai Police recovered his body from the Puzhal Lake area after receiving information on the death. The police have identified the victim as Anbalagan from Venkateswara Nagar. Based on CCTV footage from the area, it appears the perpetrator stamped on his neck and brutally attacked him even after he fell to the ground. The culprit has been identified as a man named Krishnamurthy and was later arrested based on CCTV footage. Not much is known about him yet.
