Man fatally shot in Forest Lawn

The Calgary police homicide team is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Forest Lawn on Thursday evening.
Officers were called to the 900 block of 40th Street S.E. at about 7:20 p.m. for reports of a shooting, police said in a release.
Police found a man with apparent gunshot wounds at the scene.
He was taken to hospital where he later died.
An autopsy is set for later Friday morning.
