Man falls to his death in Death Valley National Park after rappelling 'mistake'
Fox News
A 54-year-old man fell 30 feet to his death earlier in December while he was canyoneering alone in California's Death Valley National Park's Mosaic Canyon.
A campground host had reported there was a campsite with a tent in it – and no people – after the dates the site was paid for. Julia Musto is a reporter for Fox News and Fox Business Digital.
Park rangers left a note on the site and returned the next day to pick up the abandoned property.
