Mahavir Chakra of late Lt Gen stolen in Delhi

Mahavir Chakra, awarded to late Lt Gen Manmohan Khanna, was reportedly stolen last month in Delhi.

Mahavir Chakra that was conferred on late Lt Gen Manmohan Khanna was reportedly stolen from his family’s house in New Delhi. Mahavir Chakra, India’s second highest gallantry award, was given to Lt Gen Manmohan Khanna, by the government of India in 1948. He was wounded in the Battle of Badgam and for his valour and bravery, he was awarded the Mahavir Chakra.
