Maharashtra: Police commissioner in Pune disguises as common man to conduct surprise checks

A police commissioner in Pune disguised himself as a common man to conduct surprise checks at police stations across the city.

Staff at three police stations in Pune were in for a surprise last week as the police commissioner tested their behaviour and honesty in disguise. Krishna Prakash, the police commissioner for Pimpri Chinchwad Commissionerate, disguised himself as a common man and conducted surprise checks at three police stations. He visited the police stations dressed as a Muslim man and filed complaints to check the staff’s promptness and conduct towards ordinary people who come to cops for help. While two stations passed with flying colours, one failed and is now under probe.
