Calling it 'utterly mischievous', Madras High Court dismissed a petition filed by an advocate that asked the court to restrain Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin from chairing an advisory committee of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) department.
A public interest litigation filed by an advocate to restrain Chief Minister MK Stalin from chairing an advisory committee of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department (HR&CE) without taking a pledge professing Hindu faith as required to be undertaken by HR&CE employees, was dismissed by Madras High Court on Monday. Calling it 'utterly mischeivous', Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice PD Audikesavalu, refused to entertain the PIL petition right at the admission stage.More Related News
