Harbhajan Singh retires: 41-year-old off-spinner said he will never be able to forget the memories he made while winning the T20 World Cup and the World Cup with the Indian cricket team. The star bowler last played for the senior national team in 2016.
India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh said on Friday that he had been contemplating retirement for quite sometime and he made up his mind to announce the decision during the Indian Premier League 2021 season. Harbhajan took to social media earlier in the day and said he is bringing an end to his 23-year-long international career. The 41-year-old retired from all formats of the game.
While making the announcement on his official YouTube channel, Harbhajan Singh said the retirement call was a tough one to make but that in his mind he had called it quits after having not played for India in the last few years. The off-spinner last played for India in March 2016.
