LSG vs RCB: Harshal Patel delighted after Bangalore beat Lucknow - Can't describe the emotions during the MI-DC game

IPL 2022, RCB vs LSG, Eliminator: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have made their way through to the Qualifier 2 after beating the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 14 runs in the Eliminator at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fast bowler Harshal Patel was on cloud 9 after his team defeated the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Eliminator and made it to the Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. On Wednesday, Faf du Plessis and Co defeated the Super Giants by 14 runs after Rajat Patidar scored a sparkling century.
Patidar, who also got the award for the Player of the Match, helped RCB set a target of 208, which turned out to be a far cry for the Lucknow-based franchise. Patel, in the meantime, talked about the hand injury that he sustained during RCB’s last league game against the Gujarat Titans (GT).
“Hand's fine. It has healed superficially but there's an issue inside. It is a bit sore every time I stretch my thumb,” Harshal was quoted as saying after the match.
On Wednesday, the 31-year-old Patel conceded runs at an economy rate of 6.25 and picked up the all-important wicket of Marcus Stoinis.
“There were a lot of thoughts in my minds throughout the season because it was in Mumbai, which is batter-friendly. I thought about focusing more on my hard lengths and mixing it up with the slower one. My hard lengths have gone at seven and a half per over, so it has worked out well.
“I had a plan to bowl wide to Stoinis but it didn't come off well. It worked against Livingstone against Punjab but not today. So i went back to what worked for me,” he stated.
Patel also mentioned about the emotions that RCB went through during Mumbai Indians’ (MI) last league game against the Delhi Capitals (DC). After MI won the match, RCB made their way through to the playoffs.
