T20 World Cup 2021: Mohammed Shami has been subject to abuse on social media after he had an off day in the much-anticipated India-Pakistan match in Dubai on Sunday. However, some of his teammates and fans have been backing the star pacer and condemning the abuse.

The much-anticipated India-Pakistan match was over. Over 3 and half hours of pulsating action in the Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai, fans from across the two sides of the border rooted for their teams with an outpouring of emotions befitting of one of the greatest rivalries, if not the greatest rivalry in world cricket. One Pakistan captain Babar Azam hit the winning runs on Sunday, a streak ended. India lost a World Cup match to Pakistan for the first time in their storied history and Pakistan had gotten a monkey off their back. Despite the gravity of the situation, players from both sides showcased the spirit of the game.
