The London Police Service's major crime section is investigating a suspicious death that happened in the city's west end Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the 1400-block of Commissioners Road West near Reynolds Road in Byron at around 5:30 a.m. An adult man was found and taken to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
There is no risk to public safety, police said in a statement.
The investigation is in its early stages in cooperation with the regional coroner's office. Investigators remained on the scene late Tuesday morning.
Further details will be provided as appropriate, police said.

Sarnia City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning to respond to social media comments made by Coun. Bill Dennis, who criticized city spending on a new mural by Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne as “virtue signalling by woke politicians” — then made a series of comments in response to a reply from Aamjiwnaang Chief Janelle Nahmabin that some have characterized as unprofessional and aggressive.
