A London man is facing charges after allegedly emailing death threats to London's city hall.
The suspect first began emailing inquiries to the general city hall address in late June, police said.
Between Dec. 9 to 10, emails from the suspect allegedly contained the threats, with additional messages being sent several days later.
The investigation was reassigned to the cyber crime unit with assistance from patrol officers, police said. The suspected was identified and arrested the afternoon of Dec. 15.
The 47-year-old has been charged with one count of uttering threats of death or bodily harm.
He's been released from custody and expected to appear in London court in late January.
