Emily Armstrong wore the Indian cricket jersey and lit up Linkin Park's long-awaited Bengaluru debut, as a 40,000-strong crowd witnessed a historic, high-octane show blending classic anthems with new-era energy.
Emily Armstrong set the tone for a memorable night in Bengaluru by donning the Indian cricket team’s jersey on stage, instantly sending Linkin Park fans into a frenzy and creating one of the most viral moments of the band’s India debut. The gesture, met with deafening cheers, underlined the strong bond between the band and its Indian audience and added a distinct local flavour to an already historic evening.
Linkin Park performed in India for the first time on January 23, 2026, staging a standalone concert at Brigade Innovation Gardens in Bengaluru as part of their From Zero World Tour. More than 40,000 fans turned up to witness the landmark show, ending a wait of over two decades for the American rock band’s live performance in the country.
The setlist delivered a powerful mix of classic hits and new material. Timeless anthems such as In the End, Numb and Somewhere I Belong sparked mass singalongs, while tracks from the latest album From Zero, including Heavy Is the Crown, highlighted the band’s evolving sound. High-energy favourites like Faint, The Catalyst and Remember the Name kept the momentum surging throughout the two-hour set.
Armstrong further embraced local culture when she wore an Assamese gamusa thrown on stage by a fan, a moment that resonated deeply with the crowd. The Bengaluru show was widely described as electric, standing out as a long-overdue cultural milestone for Indian rock music fans.
