Lauren Boebert Gives Jaw-Dropping Excuse For Snapping Pic Of Hillary Clinton In Closed Deposition

“Everybody was very taken aback by the committee rules being essentially not enforced and certainly just broken immediately,” Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said.
Rep. Lauren Boebert gave an absurd reason for giving a right-wing influencer a photograph of Hillary Clinton testifying Thursday during her closed door deposition, possibly breaking House Oversight Committee rules.
“I really admired her, um, blue suit, so I wanted to capture that for everyone,” Boebert told reporters in Chappaqua, New York, in an apparently sarcastic response.
Clinton called her hours-long deposition regarding convicted sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein, whom she says she did not know, a distraction from President Donald Trump’s relationship with the predator.
“It then got, at the end, quite unusual, because I started being asked about UFOs and a series of questions about ‘Pizzagate,’ one of the most vile, bogus conspiracy theories that was propagated on the internet, that was serving as the basis of a member’s questions to me,” Clinton told reporters after her meeting.
Her deposition was paused shortly after Boebert sent conservative YouTuber Benny Johnson a photograph of Clinton testifying, despite committee rules regarding closed-door meetings.
