Land documents will henceforth have government logo in Andhra Pradesh, says Tribal Welfare Minister Sandhya Rani. ‘Revenue Sadassus’ begin at 965 villages in Parvatipuram-Manyam district. The government aims at resolving the issues raised in a stipulated time period under the ‘Mee Bhoomi - Mee Hakku’ initiative.
People thronged the ‘Revenue Sadassus’ that began on December 6, 2024 (Friday) at 965 villages in Parvatipuram-Manyam district.
People attended the programme in large numbers to get their grievances pertaining to land redressed.
The government aims at resolving the issues raised in a stipulated time period under the ‘Mee Bhoomi - Mee Hakku’ initiative.
Minister for Tribal Welfare G. Sandhya Rani and Collector A. Shyam Prasad launched the programme at Kondapuram village of Palakonda mandal in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Sandhya Rani, while promising to render justice to the the D-patta holders, said all land-related documents would hereafter be issued with the government logo. The previous government had issued the documents with the image of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy printed on them, she said.
Mr. Shyam Prasad said the property owners should obtain valid registered documents since agreements between private parties were not valid.
Stressing on the need to obtain land documents containing accurate details of the boundaries, the Collector said changes would be incorporated in the ‘adangal’ only after issuance of Form-8 to the persons concerned.
