La Liga: Barcelona have an opportunity to close the gap at the top when they take on bottom-ranked Huesca on Monday. Leaders Atletico Madrid have dropped as many as 11 points in their last 8 games.

Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman is firmly focussed on the La Liga title race but he stressed that the Catalan giants are not focussed on Atletico Madrid's slip-ups. Koeman said Barcelona are motivated by their own improvements in the league season. Atletico were held 0-0 at Getafe on Saturday and have dropped 11 points in their last eight matches, while Barcelona have won seven of their last eight. Barcelona showed signs of improvement in their 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League Round of 16 second leg. Despite losing the Round of 16 tie on aggregate and bowing out of the premier European competition, Barcelona played a refreshing brand of football.
