The Homeland Security Secretary also accused Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey of refusing to “protect their own people."
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem accused immigrants in Minneapolis of spurring terror in the city in a heated rant Monday on social media, but in her haste to attack them online, she publicly stumbled over her spelling.
In an X post Monday, Noem claimed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has “arrested over 10,000 criminal illegal aliens who were killing Americans“ and “hurting children.”
She then alleged that immigrants were “reigning terror in Minneapolis,” but she appeared to mix up the words “reigning,” which means to rule over something, with “raining” terror as in causing a state of destructive intent.
Noem went on to accuse Gov. Tim Walz (D) and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey of refusing to “protect their own people” by instead protecting criminals.
“In the last 6 weeks, our brave DHS law enforcement have arrested 3,000 criminal illegal aliens including vicious murderers, rapists, child pedophiles and incredibly dangerous individuals. A HUGE victory for public safety,” she added.
