Former Australia batsman Brad Hodge revealed on Monday that Kochi Tuskers Kerala, the defunct Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, still owed money to its players and asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) if they can help in the matter. Kochi Tuskers were added to the IPL 2011 roster along with Pune Warriors India but the Kerala-based team was removed after just one season as the franchise failed to pay the 10% bank guarantee due to a dispute between the owners. Hodge, who played all the 14 league games for Kochi in the 2011 season, has now revealed that the franchise owes 35 per cent money to the players.
