KL Rahul ready for challenges in South Africa: Watched a lot of videos, we are slightly better prepared
India Today
India vice-captain KL Rahul knows all too well the unique challenges batting in South Africa brings but says helping the team to get off to a solid start will be a key ingredient to victory ahead of the first test in Pretoria on Sunday.
India opener KL Rahul admitted that he didn’t know how to thwart conditions in South Africa in 2017/18 while adding that he has watched a number of videos to structure his batting to tackle 'spongy' conditions in the Rainbow nation.
India will take on South Africa in a bid to win a first Test series in the Rainbow Nation. Rahul concedes South Africa presents an altogether different trial though, especially for the batsmen. Rahul further stated that the team is better prepared than their last tour of South Africa in 2018. He added that coming in early has helped with making good preparation.
