IPL 2021: Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul was happy after starring in his team's 34-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore and said that it was important for him to lead the team from the front.
Skipper KL Rahul was delighted after Harpreet Brar's all-round effort (25* and 3/19) helped Punjab Kings beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 34 runs to revive their IPL 2021 campaign. Rahul said that PBKS needed a finger spinner and they were preparing Harpreet Brar for the role. Rahul further pointed out that it was important for him to lead from the front in a must-win clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore and he was happy that he could help his team with his batting. Rahul (91), Brar (3/19) and Ravi Bishnoi (2/17) starred for Punjab Kings in a comprehensive 34-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 26 of IPL 2021 "We were preparing Brar. On a pitch like this, we felt like we needed a finger spinner who could hit hard lengths. He did exactly that and batted really well in the end as well. I am young myself, but I have been trying to speak to the boys and pass on whatever experience I have of IPL and international cricket," Rahul said in the post-match presentation ceremony.More Related News
