California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s online trolling act has claimed another victim: Kid Rock.
The musician and prominent supporter of President Donald Trump was triggered on Monday by a post from Newsom’s press office account that used an AI image of Kid Rock to claim he endorsed the governor.
Kid Rock shared the image and disputed it with a “deez nuts” reference:
Newsom and his team have been posting trolling messages similar and in some cases nearly identical to Trump’s, right down to the all-caps howling and use of AI images.
Many of the same right-wing figures who celebrate Trump are offended by Newsom’s political performance art, including several Fox News hosts and, now, Kid Rock.
The software company was alone responsible for more than two-thirds of the S&P 500's drop.
