Kevin Pietersen slammed South Africa all-rounder Chris Morris, who flopped with both bat and ball in Rajasthan Royals' 10-wicket defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 7 of IPL 2021 on Thursday.

Former England captain Kevin Pietersen came down hard on Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Chris Morris who failed to fire once again for the team during their 10-wicket loss against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 16 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Morris, who became the most expensive buy in the IPL auction in February this year, scored just 10 runs off 7 balls and conceded 38 runs from his 3 overs as RR succumbed to their second successive loss in IPL 2021 on Thursday after being completely outplayed by Virat Kohli's RCB at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Much was expected off Morris when he came to bat with RR in trouble at 133 for 6 in the 16th over but couldn't do much even when his team needed acceleration in the death overs. The South African all-rounder was then taken to the cleaners by RCB openers Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli, who chased down the target without losing their wickets and with 21 balls to spare.
