Kevin Durant’s return gave Brooklyn a Big 2 — and a big win over Phoenix.
After missing the past three games with a thigh contusion, Durant came back to join Kyrie Irving in leading the Nets to an impressive 128-119 victory over the Suns before 1,773 fans at Barclays Center on Sunday. Kyrie Irving had a team-high 34 points, 12 assists and six rebounds, while Durant, in his first action since limping off the floor a week earlier in Miami, came off the bench with 33 points.
