Kerala HC renames suo moto case on animal cruelty in memory of dog brutally killed in Thiruvananthapuram

Kerala HC initiated a suo moto case on animal cruelty after a dog was beaten to death by three men over personal enmity with the owner of the pet in Thiruvananthapuram.

In a heartwarming gesture, suo moto proceedings initiated by the Kerala High Court for the protection of animal rights was renamed 'In Re: Bruno' in memory of a dog who was brutally killed by three people in Thiruvananthapuram. The dog was beaten to death by three men over personal enmity with the owner of the pet in the Adimalathura region of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The incident came to light after a video shot by one of the accused emerged on social media.
