Kelly Clarkson is making a big change in her life, one that will affect fans of her daytime talk show.
The 43-year-old entertainer announced on social media Monday that she will cease making “The Kelly Clarkson Show” at the end of the current season.
Clarkson began her post by noting she’s been “extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at TKCS, both in Los Angeles and New York,” who she credited with helping to create “so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons.”
Clarkson said she was “forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.”
That’s when the post pivoted to discussing the big news.
