The former Trump White House press secretary's secondhand anecdote raised eyebrows.
Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany raised eyebrows Monday with her recounting of what she said her mother told her about a screening of “Melania,” the critically panned $75 million documentary about first lady Melania Trump.
McEnany, who served as White House press secretary during Donald Trump’s first term, told her “Outnumbered” co-hosts that her mother watched the film in a Florida theater over the weekend.
According to McEnany’s account of her mother’s experience, the screening was unusually lively.

“Not only was the theater packed, it was standing room only — if you could try to sneak at the back of the theater,” McEnany said. “People were cheering through it. They were excited. It was interactive. People interplaying with the film. She said it was just electric.”
