Karnataka: Doctor cycling home for lunch brutally attacked over 6-year-old dengue patient's death

A 50-year-old doctor was brutally assaulted by relatives of a six-year-old dengue patient who died on Monday.

A 50-year-old doctor was attacked by four people on Monday following the death of his 6-year-old patient. He was brutally assaulted at around 3pm while going home for lunch by a relative and 3 others. Dr Deepak CE was treating the minor for dengue at Basaveshwara Hospital in Tarikere, Karnataka. After the boy developed complications, he was shifted to Shivamogga. He later died there.
